I felt too sick this morning to wash. I was hesitant to even show up... but, fuck it. I did it anyway. :0

I felt a little bad that I hadn't properly introduced myself to everyone there. Some of you like Nater, and intruder. Sorry guys, I'll try to be more proactive about it next time.

What happened? Were you just lurking on the fringes, or trying to exclude people from your conversational circle?

I'm not someone to just walk up to anyone and start a conversation out of nowhere. So I usually just listen and watch, but, I am trying to break out of that little by little. But even still... I don't know why, but I just kinda clammed up. Especially in the beginning. The whole experience was sorta surreal for me the whole time. Also, I only get 4 hours of sleep. I couldn't fall asleep till after 2 am, and I had to wake up at the crack of dawn to finish detailing the car body unfortunately. Meaning, only 4 hours tops.

Not really. My schedule is written 6 weeks in advance. Anything after that I have to beg for trades.

overall a very fun meet. Lots of cars too. I think if we get this many people agin we need name tags. It would be much easier to meet people:
www.norcal3s.com
"ScreenName"
"Realname"
Just a thought though. There were alot of people there. I have pics and a couple videos from my digi cam. not so good but i will put them up

That is a good idea Nate. I think we should do that for next year. Since this has been turning out to be a good meet each year, I'm going to go ahead and throw this BBQ annually. Around the Spring months when the weather permits.

Edvis, my wife and i wanted to thank you for hosting such an awesome meet. thanks to you and your gf for cooking too . i've always been the one who had to cook, so it was nice to just chill at a meet for a change.

I just wanted to say that it was a blast on the drive up. I don't think I have ever gone some of the speeds I did yesterday for such a long period.
Got stuck behind a van with John (Sledgehammer) behind me...saw a gap and took it, next thing I know I was doing 130mph...lol.

I don't think alcohol is allowed at that park.
I had to do something similar as well. I had to speed past a car but tried not to cut the person off too much, so I got a little to close for comfort to a big rig as I was changing lanes and managing to pass without problems. I was more careful from then on.
Ya know, since Edvis planned this meet and had such a good turn-out, he should plan it. I think the meet made Edvis look like he's good luck or something. Except when his car alarm would go off and disturb the moment. lol Props to Edvis!...

I love tax returns.. i'm still waiting on mine, but I cant decide what the hell to do with the money..! should I blow it on making my car look better paint job/97-98 bumper or should I blow it on performance mods.. though I'm not sure what the hell I would get that I dont already have on that thing

If it's anything like your signature, I would say your paint is fine from here. It's surprising what the Meguiare's 4 step system can do for your car.

hmm.. you might be right.. my only problem with the car is with the front bumper.. the sides and rear are in more than tolerable shape.. I just hate the front cuz the paint is all messed up
the day I took the pic of my signature, my car was filthy so it looked orange red, today its all washed and shined so its a nice deep red again : D

With all 4 steps with Meguiare's, it's even more so.
