I don't exactly remember where "there" is though. All I remember is it's just off 680.

If anyone wants to meet up before we get to the caravan stop. Address is:

950 E Calaveras Blvd
Milpitas, CA 95035

It's a Shell station right before the on-ramp to 680 south.

Didn't we technically meet next to the gas station in that little parking area last time? I thought that was a nice low key location.

You'll try to make the meet for the caravan, or just to the meet at the lake?

I am probably going to ride with Craig to this. If you want to bring the dust shield part that would be cool.

I think the quote was supposed to say meet at 10, leave at 10:30. I'll be there (and bring CJ with me).

Richie, we'll also try meeting you in Milpitas, but if you're not there by 9:15 we'll head up to the caravan point w/o ya (just giving you a hard time ;)).

If enough people vote for the change, we can do that. They're both on the way, and like Craig said, it is faster for us to go through 80.

As long as I have someone from here to follow, I'm happy. I stress out real easily when I don't know the way visually, or remember the exit names and such.

I was including maps when I mentioned that. Sure yahoo maps and such are ok, but they tend to take you a longer way than the routes people say I say I should take. Yea they get the job done, but I don't hold much confidence in them. At least with real maps you can only have yourself to blame if you get lost, and as long as the map you're using is current. Thanks anyway though. ;)

:edit: I also don't have a printer, at my aunt's so I can only write down the directions without the visual map. So that makes it more frustrating.

How is it better? If we want a big group, meeting there works best for everyone in the entire Bay Area... think of john in walnut creek for example who has already put himself on the list, or anyone in the east bay or sf, etc... actually do we even have any active sf members anymore? Stan sold his car and I think he was the only one near there. There's a guy in Antioch that always talks about coming to meets, not sure if he's still active, but for him going to Dublin first would be rediculous. And aren't you in Oakland? For you going to dublin would be a lot longer, instead just take 24 to 680 and you're almost there.... The only reason I can think of how Dublin could be better is that we could take a different (slightly longer) route to folsom to avoid the toll bridge...

I'm not surprised about Jim since he doesn't seem to be on very much. Jesse however I am surprised that he hasn't signed up yet, but I'm sure he has a good reason for missing a meet as big as this one. It's a shame that he doesn't seem to be coming since it looks to be the biggest meet of owners to date for this forum.
